Activities Things to Do When You're Off the Mountain
There is plenty to do at Copper Mountain in addition to the world class skiing and snowboarding. Adrenaline junkies will enjoy flying through powder snow on a snowmobile tour, while dog sledding runs at a slightly slower pace but is no less exhilarating. Horse drawn sleigh rides are available for those looking for a more peaceful and relaxing experience, and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating can also be found.
One of the most popular activities on the mountain is tubing, where you get to zoom down the hill sat in a huge inner tube, near the base of the Super Bee chairlift at the East Village – lots of fun for all ages!
If skiing and riding all day hasn’t tired you out, you may be interested in visiting the Athletic Club which features an indoor swimming pool, well equipped gym, sauna, steam room and a selection of spa treatments are available.
FOOD & DRINK
There is a great selection of restaurants at Copper Mountain, both on and off the mountain. From Belgian waffles to fine dining, from Japanese & Sushi to steak & ribs, you are bound to find something to please your pallet! If you are looking for a night out, you’re in luck – some of the eating establishments are also good for a lively drink so you could come for dinner and settle in for the night!
SHOPPING
There is also some good shopping to be found in the Village, with several ski and snowboard shops, clothing stores and specialty gift shops.
